Gymnastics / Tumbling

CO-ED YOUTH GYMNASTICS CLASSES

GRIT's modern 5,000 sq. foot facility features a range of gymnastics training equipment to accommodate both boys and girls from pre-school to middle school.   

 

Our structured gymnastics programs are designed to build strength, flexibility, improve balance and coordination while learning to love the sport of gymnastics.  

 

Classes geared towards teaching the foundations of gymnastics so that young athletes can grow into whatever type of athlete they desire from recreational gymnasts, competitive gymnastics, or even branching into other GRIT featured sports including Parkour and Ninja.

Taught in a safe environment by our USA Gymnastics certified instructors, your athlete will develop the strength, coordination, flexibility, momentum, and stability - core to any sport- all while having fun!

GRIT Gymnastics is offered over four sessions - Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.  Each session's pricing is based upon the session length and the price is prorated to the number of classes remaining when you register.

An introduction to gymnastics for your budding athlete.  Learn the fundamentals with our trained and experienced coaches who break down each movement focusing on flexibility, strength, and skill.
 

Athletes will learn forward rolls, backward rolls, wall-handstands, front split right splits, left splits, beam walking, balance, and beginner bar movements.

Gymnastics 5-6

Building on the Futures program,  Tumblers is an introduction to gymnastics for your budding athlete.   Learn the fundamentals with our trained and experienced coaches who break down each movement focusing on flexibility, strength, and skill.

 

Athletes will learn forward rolls, backward rolls, wall-handstands, front split right splits, left splits, beam walking, balance, beginner bar movements, and jumps on an air trampoline. 

​

Each movement is broken down into specific skill sets that must be mastered in order to move up to the next level.  Budding gymnasts will learn to excel while building flexibility, strength, and skill progression.

 

Class is 1 hour long and consists of warm-up drills, skills training, and practice followed by games at the end and a cool down.

Gymnastics 6-12

Gymnastics Level 1 & 2 | 7-12 yrs
Tumbling & Gymnastics

An introduction to Novice Gymnastics for your future gymnast.  Learn the fundamentals with our trained and experienced coaches who break down each movement focusing on flexibility, strength, and skill.

 

Athletes will learn and perfect their forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, front splits,  right splits, left splits, beam walking, balance, beginner/ intermediate bar movements, and more advanced air trampoline skills.  

​

Strength & Flexibility become more important as skill levels advance.  Athletes may spend more time on drills to accomplish these skills as well as repetition to master them.

​

Athletes are encouraged to train multiple times per week to speed up their progressive learning.   A great program to move towards competitive gymnastics.
